We as humans have evolved and advanced technologically so much that our profile picture on Social Media platforms tells the whole story. Our chances of finding friends or a partner depend mostly upon the pics. Same works for animals when it comes to finding a home.
Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) in Florida did something that changed the way animals were adopted. Let’s dig a bit deep into it.
Photos can make a huge difference when it comes to animal adoption. OCAS broke a 48-year old adoption record last month just by changing the way photos were clicked.
2.The before and after pics.
To show the value of using high-quality photos for animal adoption, the organization has released a series of before and after photos.
3. The poor quality “intake” photos.
The photos are usually taken when the animals are seized. Those “intake photos” are used solely to identify the lost owners. The intake photos were of poor quality earlier (Just like the left pic of the dog, above).
